Dear Sisters and Friends,

It is with immense joy and gratitude that I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the launch of the official website for SMI Guwahati Province. This platform is a significant step in our mission of service, allowing us to connect, communicate, and share our charism with a wider audience.
In today’s digital age, a website is not just an online presence; it is a tool for evangelization, a space for collaboration, and a means to reach out to those in need, through this website, we aim to share the values and mission of the Sisters of Mary Immaculate, highlighting our ministries, apostolate, and the tireless efforts of our sisters in spreading God’s love.
As we strive to carry out the vision of our Father Founder- Bishop Louis LaRavoire Morrow, SDB to serve the poor, educating children, and uplifting society, especially through catechesis and social service. Father Bishop emphasized a life of prayer, simplicity, and active service, inspiring us to live out our mission with deep faith and commitment. Today, the congregation continues to grow, carrying forward his legacy by working in education, healthcare, social work and pastoral ministry across India and beyond. The SMI Guwahati Province is an integral part of this mission, serving the people of Northeast India with love, compassion, and dedication.
I commend the efforts of all who have worked diligently to bring this vision to life. May this website serve as a beacon of inspiration, strengthening our bond as a community and fostering deeper engagement in our mission of love and service.
