Our Ministries
Home Visitation:
In keeping with our charism of evangelization and catechesis we visit homes of people. We teach prayers and religion to children and adults and stress the importance of family prayers, reading the Word of God, participating in the celebration of the Eucharist on Sundays. We encourage and support them in their difficulties; we assist the sick and the dying, we help them to encounter Christ through Sacraments. We keep the record of families and inform the parish priest concerned of their spiritual and material situation. Our visit to the families of other faiths is a means of evangelization. We take interest in them, their beliefs and customs. We pray with the m and for them. While communicating to them Christ’s message of peace, joy and love, we encourage them to be better people in society.
Village Apostolate:
Village tours is an integral part of our mission, conducted in consultation and collaboration with the parish priest. It is the period of intense religious instruction and payer experience. We work in team, especially with the parish priests and catechists to extend and establish the kingdom of God. There is village touring at a regular basis, for which two sisters are set apart always. They remain in the families of people for a week or two and instruct them in faith and for the reception of Sacraments.
Healing Ministry:

Our dispensaries facilitate mother and child care and family welfare as our priority. In the foot prints of Jesus the healer, we extend to those approach us for medical assistance compassion, understanding and prompt attention.

We teach in the parish schools, under the various dioceses with whom we collaborate. We give priority to the faith formation of Catholic students. Sister teachers work hard for the academic excellence of each student. To the students of other faiths we proclaim Jesus Christ and impart his values and help them develop attitudes of respect and reverence for human life, love for God and neighbour, and country, respect for law and authority and religions. We inculcate in them values of universal oneness and responsibility, so that they become good citizens.
Boardings and Hostels:
Our boardings and hostels have a well-planned programme approved by the local superior. We give special emphasis t religious education, encouraging our Catholic girls to be active members of various pious associations such as Little Flower League and Legion of Mary. Taking advantage of the special formative times we teach them moral values and assist them in their holistic growth. Girls from the poor sections of our society and from very remote villages, who cannot afford even primary education are given preference to in our boarding, and they are enrolled in the parish schools to complete their high school.
Empowerment of Women:
Jesus’ concern for the people, particularly for women, girls and children, motivates us to be concerned about restoring their human dignity, enhancing their self-worth and uniqueness of womanhood. We help them by our animating presence, instructions and awareness programmes to conscientize them on social issues and evils; we animate them to build up their families, organize self-help groups and income generating activities, promote health and education.; we also run tailoring centers and spoken English classes.
